This past weekend, Phil's brother Tom and his family were in town to visit and meet Nora and Eli. Tom, Kim, Tori (8) and Abie (almost 6) stayed with us and we all had a great time together. Grace and the girls started playing together the minute they arrived, picking right up where they left off when we saw them this Spring. We kept them busy -- we went to the zoo on Friday, visited Becca's family in Woodland Park on Saturday, and our good friends Blair and CL had us all over on Sunday for a lovely BBQ lunch before they left to go back home to Illinois. It was a short but full visit.
Unfortunately I don't have many pictures to post from our time at Becca's... but the 5 nieces sure had a great time together! When we were trying to get everyone together to leave (it was about 8pm by this time), they were all in Claire's room with the lights off and a
Cedarmont Kids CD playing loudly as they waved flashlights around and danced. They were having a "very cool party," as Grace said. Such fun!
I just love seeing Grace with each of her cousins, watching those relationships grow and deepen every time they are together. I know my own cousins have always been special and precious to me, and I am thankful that Grace and Nora will grow up making wonderful memories with theirs.

Nora,
chillin', like she did the whole time we were at the zoo. She rocks!

All your pictures are so cute. Your girls are beautiful! I just wanted to thank you for the post on my blog about the heart palpitations. No one I've talked to seems to have ever heard of anything like it and my midwife didn't know really anything either. I'm glad to hear that it's happened before and it can be "normal" which is relative since nothing about pregnancy is normal :) Thanks again for the encouragement.
