Here I go -- I'm going to try my hand at the world of blogging! I've enjoyed keeping up with others through their blogs, and with a little one due to arrive in about 27 days (!!!), I thought this might help me keep up with photos and updates for friends and family. We'll see how this goes!
I have had a big weekend: yesterday I turned 30 - wow - and I'm now within weeks of having my second child - double wow. My birthday was wonderful, thanks to my awesome husband and many thoughtful friends/family! Even though 30 is a "big" birthday, I think I'm more preoccupied with the reality that a new baby is about to change our lives than I am with entering a new decade. It's sinking in that I have LOTS to do before this little sweetie arrives! I feel my nesting instinct starting to take hold. Below is a current picture of me and my 36-week baby belly. It's out there!

Things in Fort Wayne are great. Our boys are 12,9, and 6 now ... it's incredible how fast they make the time go by!
I hope all goes well with the baby. Jessie and I will use the blog to keep up with Carrie's progress.
