Our Valentine's Day was superb! We paid a visit to Sadie, Adam and Jen, then met up with Jason, Christy and the fam at an indoor playground. Ryan, Grace and Drew had a big time running amok. We shared lunch with them at one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Later that night we headed out for some awesome pizza with Adam W. and then to Build-A-Bear to use a gift certificate that Grace had received for Christmas from our dear friends, Patty and Tom.
It was our first Build-A-Bear experience, and though Grace was a little leery of the stuffing tank, she had a great time. Grace was all decked out in her pink stuff, including a pink pair of sunglasses with hearts on the side. (It was Valentine's day, after all!) She didn't seem to mind that it was evening and dark outside! She picked a pink monkey with hearts on it. They didn't have the penguin she originally wanted, but she was a good sport about having to take her second choice. She named the monkey "Villie," short for "Valentine." Thanks Patty and Tom!

The amazing cupcakes and cookies my mom and dad got for the girls. Nora might need some help eating hers. I'll be happy to help her out. :)

I totally dig the glasses. We've never done Build a Bear but the kids have gotten them. They are so stinkin' cute! And so's Grace. What a big girl she is!
HEY Carrie
I found your blog, while looking for Kelly, when I found Jill's, which lead me to you! Your girls are so cute! Hope you don't mind me checking out your blog every once in a while!
Thanks for dinner the other night. I really enjoyed spending time with your family. I always feel welcome and have a great time! You rock. We need to get together more, I am saying it and am going to do it.
we just took Maddie to Build-a-bear on Thursday! She contemplated the same monkey but settled on a bunny she named "Baylee". So cute...
