We celebrated Phil's 37th birthday last weekend! My family came over, we had Bennett's BBQ (thanks to Mom and Dad) and our favorite Kahlua chocolate cake. It was a gorgeous day -- 75 degrees in early November!! -- and so we spent the afternoon outside. We had an especially lively time because Adam and Jen attended in costume (they were heading to a Halloween party later), and they also brought her brother's new black Lab puppy, Aspen. The four kids and the puppy were a hoot to watch. The game of dodgeball that took place was also hilarious. Why dodgeball, you ask? Just take a look at Adam & Jen's costumes!
